BlueShift, Inc. Mechanical Design plans to launch a revolutionary new design for an ROV tool called a Remote Plenum Chamber or RPC.
This patent pending RPC system, designed in response to the Macondo Prospect Incident, will contain free flowing liquid and gas hydrocarbons in a manner that is both profitable and environmentally friendly.
The system is able to fit any size riser pipe, and it can be deployed from any surface vessel with a work-class ROV.
RPC design enables it to operate via a one inch “hot stab” from a work-class ROV which includes an emergency shut-off valve.
It can be engaged in moments to stop the flow of multiphase to the receiving vessel in the event of heavy seas or safety concerns.
