BW Offshore Extends Contracts for Two FPSOs

BW Offshore has agreed an contract extension for FPSO Abo with Nigerian Agip Exploration Ltd of nine months and an contract extension for FPSO Sendje Berge with Addax Petroleum Exploration Ltd of three months.

These extensions have been agreed to secure operational continuity while joint work to detail longer term programs for investment and production are completed.

The Abo FPSO has a storage capacity of 900,000 barrels of oil and an oil treatment capacity of 45,000 barrels per day. The vessel can also inject up to 30,000 barrels per day of water and 35 MMcf/d of natural gas.

The Sendje Berge FPSO measures approximately 350m in length with a breadth of 52m. The vessel’s crude oil storage capacity is 2 million barrels.
