The first MarinaMaster 8000 has arrived by lorry at Fambridge Marina in Essex to carry out dredging trials for owners Yacht Havens Ltd.
She is the first of a new design of specialist dredger designed by Alan Goodchild and built in Italy by Italdraghe SpA with supervision from Goodchild Marine.
She is to be named ‘Tullulah Bella’ and will work in both Fambridge Marina on the East Coast and in Nayland Marina on the West Coast where dredge conditions and water depth are very different.
This dredger is versatile and innovative in many ways and can even angle the dredge ladder to reach under marina walkways without having to remove them.
