Sevan Marine announces that “first oil” and production from FPSO Voyageur Spirit at the Huntington oil and gas field in the Central North Sea has successfully started.
Following a 72 hours continuous production testing, title to the FPSO Voyageur is expected to be transferred to Voyageur LLC (a subsidiary of Teekay Corp) within one week.
This will constitute the final step in the restructuring of Sevan Marine and its subsidiaries according to plan.
The field is expected to produce around 6,000 barrels oil equivalents per day.
