Black & Veatch announced the availability of its standardized liquefied natural gas (LNG) production plant, PRICO® E-Pack. Based on Black & Veatch’s successful PRICO LNG technology, the PRICO E-Pack plant solution allows companies in the transportation, power generation and other sectors to realize the benefits of switching to LNG fuel.
PRICO® E-Pack will be available for transportation LNG applications beginning in the third quarter of 2013.
“For on-road and off-road vehicle fleets, railroads, and marine vessel operators, the PRICO® E-Pack standard plant is the most economical and efficient LNG solution,” stated Kerry Erington, Director within Black & Veatch’s Oil & Gas business. “PRICO® E-Pack allows our clients to realize substantial cost savings, through efficient and reliable operations and the advantages of an accelerated plant delivery schedule.”
Black & Veatch’s standardized PRICO® E-Pack plant integrates key PRICO® components with shop fabricated modules that can be shipped by truck, minimizing field assembly. Its modular, standard design also expedites delivery and construction time to enhance return on investment (ROI).
As part of its full scope services, Black & Veatch also works with clients to integrate the PRICO® E-Pack into a complete LNG fuelling solution. This can include design elements addressing storage, loading, utilities and other key plant component needs.
