On April 22, the vessel named “BEI HAI JIU 203”, built by Afai Southern Shipyard (Panyu Guangzhou) Ltd for China Rescue and Salvage Bureau of Ministry of Transport, carried out yard trials.
All the technical indexes of the main equipment reached the design requirements, and the technical performance of the vessel has proven to be ideal.
The “BEI HAI JIU 203” is the first unit of the second batch of the coastal fast rescue vessels being built at Afai.
It will be operated by the Beihai Rescue Bureau, its primary mission being rescue operations.
