On 14 May 2013 Igor Levit, Acting General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport”, visited the Vyborg Shipyard, LLC, where 3 diesel-electrical icebreakers of project 2900M are being conducted by order of FSUE “Rosmorport”, which acts as a client constructor.

Igor Levit observed the construction progress, and visited the workshops, where formation and welding of icebreaker sections is performed, and an open building berth, where the sections are put together.

To sum up the inspection of vessels under construction, a working meeting was held with the representatives of the shipyards and of the Joint Shipbuilding Corporation, in order to discuss production issues connected to execution of state contracts on icebreaker construction.

On 15 May 2013 Igor Levit visited Ust-Luga Seaport, where, in particular, he inspected the facilities for transshipment of liquid hydrocarbon gases under construction, and also met the management of the subcontractor Northern Dredging Company, LLC, which is working on the formation of the Ust-Luga Seaport water area, to discuss issues on construction and meeting deadlines of dredging performance stipulated by the state contracts.
