Despite delays in converter platform launch, ABB will see DolWin1 wind power connection completed on schedule.
Thomas Schmidt, a spokesman at Zurich-based ABB said for Blumberg that he expects the link to be ready for commissioning by the end of the year.
Last year, ABB was charged USD 50 million for delays on the DolWin1 which were caused by overdue regulatory clearance.
Schmidt also reported that USD 1 billion offshore wind connection project, DolWin2, is on schedule to be commissioned in 2015.
