Simek Shipyard has launched North Pomor (Yard no. 129), a platform supply vessel of Skipsteknisk ST-216 Arctic design, being built for Gulf Rederi AS and based on its very successful ST-216L CD predecessor.

The vessel is designed for harsh environment operations, ice classed and winterized for cold climate conditions. In addition, the vessel has a green profile and will be fitted for rescue and oil recovery capabilities.
