Nauta Yard recently laid keel of a special purpose research vessel intended for the Institute of Oceanography, University of Gdańsk.

The vessel is a special research catamaran intended for interdisciplinary research and will have a steel welded construction with large work area on aft, equipped with davits and gantry crane.

The vessel shall include an accommodation area for 20 persons with modern laboratories. She will have an innovative system of diesel – electric propulsion pods and DP1 class dynamic positioning system.
