CARIS announces an upcoming HIPS and SIPS training course for marine and hydrographic professionals at the CARIS USA office in Alexandria, Virginia.
The hands-on training course will be held July 16-18, 2013 and will focus on data processing, visualization, quality control and product creation techniques using the latest HIPS and SIPS 8.0 release.
The training course will include the new features of HIPS and SIPS, including more efficient data access with the new HIPS file, an integrated Water Column workflow and processing data from a patch test using the new calibration tool.
Topics such as multibeam processing techniques, TPU, CUBE, and 3-D area based editing and fly through will also be covered during the training.
