Kvaerner Stord has extended the Apply Scope of Work for delivery of the Eldfisk 2/7 S Living Quarters, from supply of the architect and insulation disciplines to take full responsibility for the Living Quarters outfitting and completion.

Kvaerner Stord is the topsides contractor to ConocoPhillips for their Eldfisk 2/7 S Project.

The contract includes outfitting of a new 10 floor Living Quarters module with an area, including Utility, of 5000 m2, a capacity of 154 single cabins, recreation areas, control room, administration centre, change rooms, and other facilities required for operation of an offshore hotel. The Living Quarters is made in steel. The delivery is set to Q1 – 2014. The value of the contract is estimated at MNOK 100.

“We are honoured that Kvaerner has selected Apply for outfitting of the Eldfisk Living Quarters,” says Managing Director Lars Solberg . The project will be outfitted at Kvaerner Stord’s yard.

Apply is at present also engaged in the delivery of the Living Quarters to the Hebron field development in Canada, the Edvard Grieg, the Martin Linge , the Gina Krog and the Ivar Aasen field developments on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
