German grid operator TenneT said that it is confident that funding for its offshore projects, which would amount to EUR 7 billion for transmission cables, is secured.
The company is assured that new legal arrangements regarding risk liability will help get things solved for the offshore transmission sector, Power Engineering informs.
TenneT is currently receiving damage claims for the delays in completing the offshore wind connection, but it now says that there will be no more delays concerning the construction of the cable links.
