Mingde Heavy Launches Biggest Asian Built Chemical Tanker

Mingde Heavy Industry has launched the biggest stainless steel chemical tanker ever built in Asia. Mingde Heavy Industry has launched the biggest stainless steel chemical tanker ever built in Asia. The length of this vessel is 183m, with 28.4m width, 15.2m depth and 10m draft, powered by single propeller, low speed diesel engine for unrestricted navigation, with dead weight of 30,000T.

The cargo area is divided into 28 cargo tanks. All cargo tanks are stainless steel. Each cargo tank is a self contained unit totally separated from each other. Each cargo tank is serve by an independent depwell pump and cargo transfer system enabling her to contain 28 different kinds of cargo, while loading or unloading 6 tanks simultaneously.
