N-Sea Undertakes HVDC Cable Excavation and Survey at Thanet OWF, UK

N-Sea has successfully executed an HVDC-cable excavation and survey project at the Thanet Offshore Wind Farm in the UK, offshore Ramsgate. Deburrial was completed using the N-Seatec designed and manufactured Twin-Prop excavation tool. Pre and post lay survey services were also provided from the DP2

N-Sea has successfully executed an HVDC-cable excavation and survey project at the Thanet Offshore Wind Farm in the UK, offshore Ramsgate.

Deburrial was completed using the N-Seatec designed and manufactured Twin-Prop excavation tool. Pre and post lay survey services were also provided from the DP2 vessel Noordhoek Pathfinder.

Located 12km off Foreness Point, the entire Thanet wind farm covers 35 square kilometres. Thanet produces enough electricity to supply more than 200,000 homes with clean electricity.
