The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) will hold a flexible risers seminar in Stavanger on Tuesday, 26 November 2013. The seminar will focus on integrity, learning, sharing experience, continuous improvement and prevention of major accidents.
The background for the seminar is a number of incidents in connection with flexible risers in recent years. In the annual summary of risk level on the Norwegian shelf (RNNP), flexible risers represent the majority of reported injuries and incidents involving pipelines, risers and subsea facilities.
The goal is to increase general knowledge on integrity management of flexible risers and to share experiences from design, installation and operations that can help reduce risk and provide continuous improvement.
The seminar program is being prepared and will be published on www.psa.no early this autumn.
The seminar is free and will be held in English.
