Denmark: Energinet.dk Calls Pre-Qualification Tenders for Horns Rev 3 Cabling Work

Energinet.dk would like to pre-qualify a number of tenderers to deliver the HV cables for the Horns Rev 3 Offshore Wind Farm.

Energinet.dk intends to pre-qualify up to 5 tenders per lot:

Lot no. 1: Submarine cable transportation and laying;

Lot no. 2: Delivery and installation of beach cable;

Lot no. 3 is optional: System voltage is 150(170) kV. Cable can be 220(245) kV HVAC submarine cable with approximately 4km in length.

Tenders may be submitted for one or more lots by July 12, 2013.

Horns Rev 3 OWF is located north of Horns Rev (Horns Reef) in a shallow area in the eastern North Sea, about 20-30 km north west of the westernmost point of Denmark, Blåvands Huk. It will cover an area of approximately 90 km 2 and will have a capacity of 400 MW, which is more than Horns Rev 1 and Horns Rev 2 together.
