Wave energy developer Carnegie Wave Energy Limited announces that it has placed an order for the tether of its proprietary CETO system.

An order has been placed for the Perth Wave Energy Project tether with Subsea Riser Products Ltd (SRP), a UK based specialist supplier of hardware for critical offshore applications. SRP were also recently awarded the Perth Wave Energy Project contract for the CETO Unit Attachment and Foundation.

The award of this contract marks the 8th key component commitment for the Perth Wave Energy Project following the award of contracts for the CETO Pumps, the CETO Energy Relief System, Hydraulic Accumulators, Control & Isolation Valves, the CETO Unit Buoyant Actuators, and the CETO Unit Attachment & Foundation Connector and the Perth Wave Energy Project piping system.
