China: Hantong to Build Two Bulk Carriers for Nisshin

Jiangsu Hantong Group signed a shipbuilding contract with Japanese Shipowner Nisshin for the construction of two more 38,800DWT Handysize bulk carriers designed by SDARI . The vessels will be built at Hantong and delivered in the 2nd quarter of 2015. Currently, Hantong has 9 vessels of this same typ

Jiangsu Hantong Group signed a shipbuilding contract with Japanese Shipowner Nisshin for the construction of two more 38,800DWT Handysize bulk carriers designed by SDARI .

The vessels will be built at Hantong and delivered in the 2nd quarter of 2015. Currently, Hantong has 9 vessels of this same type on order which will be delivered by the end of June, 2013.

Earlier this month, Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy launched a newbuild 64,000 DWT bulk carrier, built for Load Line Marine SA, the ‘Copenship Eco’.
