Block 121 Well Being Plugged and Abandoned (Vietnam)

Origin Energy, on behalf of the Block 121 Joint Venture, advises that the 121-CV-1X well, which spudded at 0730 hours local (Vietnam) time on 15 June 2013, has reached planned total depth of 3,750m MDRT (Measured Depth Below Rotary Table). Origin Energy, on behalf of the Block 121 Joint Venture, advises that the 121-CV-1X well, which spudded at 0730 hours local (Vietnam) time on 15 June 2013, has reached planned total depth of 3,750m MDRT (Measured Depth Below Rotary Table).

The well was drilled using the semi-submersible drilling rig Ocean General.

Final logging has been completed and the well is being plugged and abandoned in accordance with the original program.

The well encountered shows of wet gas only in a secondary objective.

The 121-CV-1X well is situated in the Phu Khanh Basin off the coast of central Vietnam.

Block 121 Participating Interests: Origin Energy (Song Hong) Pte. Ltd 45%, Premier Oil Vietnam 121 Ltd 40% and Pan Pacific Petroleum Vietnam (121) Pty Ltd 15%.
