Akdeniz Shipyard Signs LOI for Construction of Fish Farm Service Vessel

Turkish-based Akdeniz Shipyard and Hordafor AS of Norway have signed a letter of intent for the construction of a Fish Farm Service Vessel. Turkish-based Akdeniz Shipyard and Hordafor AS of Norway have signed a letter of intent for the construction of a Fish Farm Service Vessel.

This 65 metres long and 1.725 Deadweight ton vessel will be used to handle a live or dead fish from the big fish farms on the Norwegian Cost.

Akdeniz Shipyard holds the distinction of being the largest shipyard of Turkey and Eastern Mediterranean in terms of area and capacity. Having a total area of 175.000 m2 the shipyard aims for the shipbuilding and repair/maintenance services.
