The 266,000 cubic metres Al Mafyar departed from Qatar’s Port of Ras Laffan on Thursday. This represents the first of five shipments Qatar has promised to deliver to Egypt.
Qatar, the world’s largest LNG producer, will supply Egypt with LNG to help the country with its fuel demand over the peak summer period.
