The Port of Ramsgate has agreements in place to provide ongoing operations and maintenance facilities for two of the largest offshore wind farms.

In addition, the Royal Harbour marina accommodates a large range and number of vessel types and sizes on pontoon berths.

There is also potential to expand the offer to both existing and future customers through improved freight handling areas and equipment.

A key project to deliver these improved facilities relates to the construction of a major new heavy duty alongside quay in the outer harbour, and the development of a commercial vessel service area with potential for fabrication, to include those engaged in ship building and repair.

Seeports will hold a free event in Ramsgate on 13 September 2013 for representatives of interested companies . The event will be followed by an opportunity for an optional tour around the port.
