CIC (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. began construction of CSCL’s (China Shipping Container Lines) second 10,000TEU container ship on August 6th. Relevant leaders form CSCL, CCS Shanghai Branch, CSCL Jiangsu Branch and Hudong Zhonghua attended the steel cutting ceremony.
The ceremony was presided over by Chen Junhua, Party Secretary of CICJS. The executive director of CICJS Wang Yiling, and vice director Wang Ruhua and more than 200 people attended the celebration.
By further making innovations, popularizing and applying advanced technology during the construction of 10,000TEU container ship, optimizing the production process, accumulating more fine management experiences, CICJS will greatly enhance its ability of building “large, high tech and new” ships and lay solid foundation of transformation and upgrading.
At the ceremony, deputy general manager of CSCL Feng Xingguo issued the steel cutting command. Vice manager of Safty &Technology Division of CSCL He Limin, deputy general manager of Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd Huang Yiping and deputy general manager of China Shipping Industry Co., Ltd Li Zhengjian jointly launched the ignition button.
