Oslo-headquartered oil services firm AGR has expanded its TRACS Training offer to cover the Norwegian market. The news was launched at ONS Norway today (Monday 19 August 2013).

The expansion will seek to repeat the success of AGR’s TRACS Training in Aberdeen, recognised as one of the world’s top training providers.

More than 25,000 industry professionals have taken part in AGR’s TRACS Training courses since it was founded in 1992. The business delivers more than 200 courses a year for clients including BP, Shell and Chevron, across six continents.

AGR’s TRACS Training officially launched the news during a presentation held at Centre Court of ONS Norway today. The training programmes introduced in the Norwegian market will initially focus on three course types – a series of Masterclasses open to the top engineers in Stavanger, bespoke Open Air Courses which can be delivered on site for clients anywhere in the world and a graduate programme comparable to those successfully run for BP, PDO, OMV and Wintershall.

TRACS Training Director and one of the course tutors, Mark Bentley said: “ AGR’s TRACS Training has been successful for over 20 years because we focus on tailored training sessions delivered by respected senior trainers, which motivates our clients’ staff to operate at their optimum.

“Our Masterclass series gives the Norwegian market an opportunity to sample our high value training.

“The bespoke graduate programme, which we have been delivering in other regions very successfully, is developed using case study data from each individual client. And our pioneering Open Air Courses combine classroom-based learning with practical application. Our tutors have delivered courses in the thick of client operations in six continents.

“We believe AGR’s TRACS Training brings a unique offer to the Norwegian market and look forward to growing a successful division from our Stavanger office.”

AGR is at ONS Norway stand B2208.
