Four 64.000 dwt bulkers and two 39,000 dwt bulkers will be constructed by Yangfan Group, based on the order placed by Italian owner D’Amico Societa di Navigazione, SinoShip news portal reports.
Namely, the two smaller bulk carriers (39,000 dwt) will be built according to Deltamarine design. The delivery of these two vessels is scheduled for 2014 and 2015.
The remaining four vessels from the contract (64.000 dwt) will be delivered in 2016.
The financial terms of the order were not disclosed.
D’Amico has nine handysize bulkers and seven containerships in total on order at at Yangfan Group.
