Rapidly growing subsea products and equipment firm Ennsub is pleased to announce that it has secured a 14,000 sq ft production and office facility within the high-specification Tees Valley One Twenty scheme which forms part of the prestigious 700 acre Wynyard Park development in the Teesside area of North-East England.

The facility, which complements the firms Aberdeen and Cheltenham offices, has space for over 25 project staff and will house product assembly and test facilities in addition to a training and 3D design theatre, client offices and innovation centre.

The move, in response to exceptionally high levels of demand and interest in the company’s products and equipment, provides a high-end production base from which to service the international subsea market.

Scott Macknocher, Ennsub’s General Manager said “We are delighted to have secured such a high-specification facility which allows us to deliver projected demand, particularly in areas such as pipeline installation and commissioning aids, ROV and deepwater deployment solutions and bespoke project equipment. This is a hugely positive step for the company which will bring numerous benefits, not least the strategically important location with access to a world-class supply chain, skilled workforce and excellent transport infrastructure.”

The company, formed less than 12 months ago by a quartet of senior subsea professionals, has exceeded expectations in its first year of operation during which it has secured an order book with options in excess of £6million, a large portion of which is for tier-one subsea installation contractors.

“Interest in our products has exceeded expectations and therefore the move to Wynyard allows Ennsub to expand our in-house design engineering, product development and assembly and testing capabilities whilst providing a stable platform for further growth over the coming years“ added Macknocher.
