IKM Subsea Singapore Secures Long Term ROV Contract Onboard DSV IES Pearl

IKM Subsea Singapore has recently been awarded a contract by Bekk Solutions International to provide ROV services onboard the Dive Support Vessel IES Pearl (Ex Jaya Pearl). IKM Subsea Singapore has recently been awarded a contract by Bekk Solutions International to provide ROV services onboard the Dive Support Vessel IES Pearl (Ex Jaya Pearl).

The vessel is being mobilized in Singapore and will operate in the region on various IMR contracts. The vessel will be mobilized with Saturation Diving and Air Dive system as well. The contract term is for 2 years with options for extension.

IKM Subsea would be providing the Sub Atlantic Comanche Light Workclass ROV together with all necessary toolings & personnel onboard the vessel to support the operations. The vessel will be enroute to Indonesia for the first project of Riser replacement.

IKM Subsea General Manager, Mahesh Govindan says “This is the first long term contract in Singapore for the company. It is exciting to follow the footsteps of our Norwegian counterparts to have been doing this from years back. We hope this would be the first of many more to come.

The Singapore office have expanded fast in the past year from operating 1 ROV system to 5 ROV systems in a year. We will continue our growth based on the market outlook.”
