VARD, DOF and PG have been a long time good relation, from which PG have historically secured as much as 44 newbuildings already – all of them high-end, well equipped, state-of-the-art solutions.
PG has now been selected to deliver very comprehensive packages to their VARD 12 OSCV at VARD Søviknes, which include all Cargo, Utility- and Engine Room Pumps, Central Titanium Coolers, Fresh Water Generators and not least large, twin Ballast Water Treatment Systems. There are another four optional contracts covered by the same agreement.
In addition, PG was also awarded orders for similar scopes to their most recently announced 2 x VARD 3 05 PLSV at VARD Søviknes, and 2 x VARD 3 16 PLSV at VARD Promar. These are very large Pipe Laying Support Vessels, contracted to work for Petrobras in Brazil upon completion.
