“Striking of Steel” of Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited’s Mobile Offshore Self Elevating Drilling Rig took place on September 4, 2013 at a globally reputed yard, a Singapore incorporated step down subsidiary of the Company, Greatship Global Energy Services Ptc. Ltd. (GGES), informed.
The rig is a state of the art cyber rig, and will be built in accordance with the latest technology, equipment and systems. The rig is due for delivery in 2015.
GIL and its subsidiaries currently own and/or operate four PSVs, nine AHTSVs, two MPSSVs, six ROVSVs and three jack-up rigs.
