TTS Group ASA has, through its subsidiary TTS Marine AB in Gothenburg, signed a new contract in China with a total value of approx. 72 million NOK (USD 12.2 million).
With this contract TTS has further consolidated its leading position within the merging Post Panamax PCTC market.
TTS’ technological solutions have greatly increased the efficiency of the next generation of car carriers.
This year this is the sixth Post Panamax contract for TTS Group. The contract is with Tianjin Xingang Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. in China. The contract concerns delivery of cargo access equipment for two Post Panamax car carriers which are under construction.
The equipment deliveries will be completed during 2014 and 2015. The contract also contains an option for deliveries to two further vessels.
