CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Bags Jiangsu Dredging Deal (China)

CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. has recently won the bid for Lot SG-1 of the trial dredging works of the 50000t channel regulation project in Guanhe Estuary, Jiangsu Province, with a contract value of 272 million yuan and a construction period of 120 calendar days.

Guanhe Estuary is located 450 kilometers north of Yangtze Estuary and 40 kilometers away from Lianyungang. Through regulation, the project is proposed to upgrade the existing 20000t channel to a one-way tide-riding inward and outward channel with a full length of some 28.84 kilometers and an annual freight volume of 30 million tons.

The project is of great significance to further promoting the development of the shipping industry of the Guanhe channel and boosting north Jiangsu’s economic development.
