IKM Subsea Singapore has been awarded a double contract by a major EPIC contractor in the region.

The ROV system has been working onboard the clients barge since June 2013 on a project in Indonesia. Upon completion of the project the system now has been re-mobilized on a different barge for the same client.

“ We are glad that the client has been extremely satisfied with our performance and have continued faith in IKM Subsea. The current project will be ongoing till end of October. IKM Subsea would be providing our in house built Merlin WR200 Workclass ROV with all required personnel and toolings “, said the company .

Further to that, the client has awarded a second contract to mobilize another Workclass ROV onboard a DP2 vessel supporting the barge. The exact similar system will be mobilized with personnel & toolings.

“We are glad to have secured these 2 contracts which proves that IKM Subsea is being recognized as an experienced and established ROV operator in the region” says Mahesh Govindan, IKM Subsea Singapore’s General Manager.

The strategy of operating as an independent ROV service provider enables IKM to provide the services to anyone without competing with the clients.
