Hellesoy Verft has delivered a new combined purse seiner/trawler, MS Ligrunn, to its owners the LieGruppen Fiskeri AS.
The hull of the vessel was built at WBS yard in Lithuania and towed to Hellesøy in December 2012. The outfitting was done in close collaboration with the owner and Wartsila Ship Design
The 64-metre-long vessel has been developed and equipped for lowest possible fuel consumption, which increases operational cost-effectiveness and reduces environmentally harmful emissions. At trials, Ligrunn reached a top speed of 19,4 knots.
