BMT Group Ltd, the leading international design, engineering and risk management consultancy, is set to exhibit its range of defence capabilities at the upcoming Pacific International Maritime Exposition, Pacific 2013, which is taking place in Sydney, Australia in October.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the defence sector, BMT’s expertise includes research and development, naval architecture, platform design and support. Pacific 2013 will give BMT the chance to cement its global reputation for maritime concept design, and as a world leader in engineering for acquisitions and through life support.

BMT’s deep understanding of the defence business has led to prime contracts and business support activity such as the development of the US Navy’s environmental programme, and support of the UK’s acquisition change management programme. BMT has also supported the acquisition of the Australian Antarctic Division’s next generation icebreaker.

At Pacific 2013, the BMT Group stand will showcase a selection of BMT’s innovative software based tools for the defence market, and include model demonstrations from technical specialists. The event also offers an opportunity to engage in festivities in and around the centenary celebrations of the Royal Australian Navy.
