Prospector Offshore Drilling S.A. today took delivery of PROSPECTOR 1, from Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Offshore Co., Ltd. in Dalian, China.
PROSPECTOR 1 is the first in the Company’s series of six high specification, harsh environment jack-up drilling rigs built to the Friede and Goldman JU2000E design. The rig will now be mobilized to the UK sector of the North Sea where it is contracted to work for Total E&P UK Limited and Elf Exploration UK Limited.

Taking delivery of PROSPECTOR 1 marks a significant milestone on the road to implementing this strategy.
