TTS Group ASA has, through its subsidiary TTS Marine AB in Gothenburg, signed a new contract in South Korea worth a total value of approx. 60 MNOK (USD 9.9 million). With this contract TTS has further reinforced its leading position within the merging Post Panamax PCTC market.
TTS’ technological solutions have greatly increased the efficiency of the next generation of car carriers.
This is the seventh Post Panamax contract for TTS Group in 2013. The contract is with Hyundai Heavy Industries, Ulsan, South Korea. The contract concerns delivery of cargo access equipment to four panamax car carriers under construction at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries in Mokpo.
The equipment deliveries will be completed during 2014.
