Eight container vessels ordered by Pacific International Lines (PIL) and built under Navgathi’s new building supervision have joined the parent fleet. Four 3600 TEU container carriers built in Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries and four 2800 container carriers built in Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, South Korea have been delivered to PIL.
Four 2800 sister vessels of Kota series are 222 meters long, 30 meters wide, and have 16.8 meter depth. The vessels are powered by Hyundai-MAN B&W engines that were built in HMD.
The four vessels of Hanjin series have the length of 221 meters and breadth of 35 meters. They are designed for a speed of 21.2 knots, and are fitted with Main Engine: Hyundai-MAN B&W that were built in HSHI under Navgathi’s newbuilding supervision.
