Intergraph has published a new case study that describes how CAESAR II helped L&T Valdel succeed on a turnkey engineering and design project for India’s largest offshore process and living quarters, located at the Mumbai High North development.
The project for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC), India’s leader in exploration and production, included bridges to two tripod platforms for flaring and venting that required precise engineering and design because of the environmentally imposed difference in the loads and movements of these connecting platforms.
CAESAR II’s ability to analyze the different scenarios in a single input file saved them time on the engineering analysis while ensuring accurate results. With the software’s ability to import displacements, they are able to handle complex and large systems without errors and in less time, ensuring full client satisfaction.
