Leighton Offshore has been awarded another project by Qatar Gas after successfully delivering the replacement of their SPM 1 floating hoses earlier in the year.
Leighton’s scope of work For Qatargas Phase 2 will include:
– Floating Hose change out works on SPM 2, including flushing of SPM system, installing, pressure testing of new hose strings.
– Replacement of SPM 2 subsea hoses, including new piggy back Fiber Optic & Hydraulic Umbilical’s , dewatering, Pressure Testing and commissioning assistance for the Complete SPM No 2 System.
– A Second Scope is to change out the Complete Subsea Hose System on the Qatargas SPM No 1 Buoy, including new piggy back Fiber Optic & Hydraulic Umbilical’s , dewatering, Pressure Testing and commissioning assistance for the Complete SPM No 1 System.
The project team is currently mobilized in field delivering the project which will be completed by November.
