China: GD Receives Thumbs Up for 250MW OWF

Chinese energy company, GD Power Development Co., announced that its unit has won approval for an offshore wind farm in the eastern province of Zhejiang, writes Bloomberg.

Zhejiang Zhoushan Offshore Wind Power Development Co. is planning to invest 4.45 billion yuan ($733 million) in the newly approved 250 MW offshore wind farm, stated GD in its filling to the Shanghai stock exchange.

Besides this, GD added that the company’s nine-month profit rose 110.21 percent to 4.94 billion yuan (803.75 million U.S. dollars) comparing to the same period last year.
