Croatia’s Adria Winch, a company specialized in deck machinery, with production facilities in Split, in December 2013 received three contracts worth 800.000 € in Total.

To begin with, Adria Winch has secured a contract for delivery of various anchor-mooring equipment for two new Service operation vessels of Havyard’s design 832 SOV design. The vessels will be built in Norwegian Havyard Shipyard in Leirvik for Danish owner – ESVAGT AS. The scope of supply for each vessel will include Two Anchor-Mooring Winches of 46K3 chain category, two Mooring Capstans, two Mooring Winches and one Tugger Winch, all of them electric with built-in frequency convertors which allow variable speeds during anchoring, hoisting and mooring operations.

VARD 829 OCV, Farstad Shipping

Furthermore, Adria Winch, together with its partner Seaonics, signed contract to equip an offshore construction vessel of VARD 3 07 Design (newbuild 829) with anchor-mooring and cargo handling equipment. The vessel will be built in VARD Langsten shipyard for Norwegian shipowner Farstad Shipping. The scope of supply will include anchor-mooring winches of 64K3 chain category, two Mooring Winches of 100 kN pulling force and two Tugger Winches of 200 kN pulling force.

NB 717 Vard Braila

Also, Adria Winch and Seaonics AS received a contract for Small Survey Vessel which will be built in VARD Braila Shipyard in Romania for Circle Maritime Invest Company. The vessel will be used for survey operations in the Caspian Sea and will be equipped with one Anchor-Mooring Winch of 28K3 chain category and one Tugger Winch of 50 kN pulling force, both of them hydraulically driven. Delivery will also include one Hydraulic Power Unit from Adria Winch. Vessel is expected to be delivered during 3Q of 2014.
