China Completes First 300-Meter Saturation Dive

China’s first 300-meter saturation dive experiment has been completed successfully on Saturday.

Six divers came out after staying in the living chamber for 380 hours, China Daily reported.

According to Shen Hao, head of the Shanghai Salvage Company, the divers dove to a depth of 313.5 meters on January 12.

Shen added that China is planning to further develop technologies which would enable saturation diving at a depth of 500 meters.
