The PSA has given Talisman Energy Norge AS consent to use Island Constructor on the Gyda field for plugging wells 2/1-9 A and 2/1-11.

The operation is planned to start in February 2014 with a duration of 15 days.

Island Constructor is a facility designed for well intervention which is operated by Island Offshore Management AS. The facility received the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway’s Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) in September 2010.
