Greece: Organismos Limenos Issues Wreck Removal Tender

Organismos Limenos Alexandroypolis issued a tender invitation for wreck removal services related to the wreck of the truck-ferry “Thessaloniki”.

The promoter is seeking persons with experience and expetrise to perform all works required for the removal of the hazardous and harmful wreck.

“Thessaloniki”, which is registered in Valletta, Malta, is currently located in the harbour area of the Port of Alexandroupolis.

The contract has a value of 1.294,000 EUR, and it is expected to be completed 15 days from the date of contract award.

The deadline for the submission of tenders is February 26, 2014.
