The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, has introduced a plan to invite bidders for the Waukegan Outer Harbor dredging project, located in the Town of Waukegan, Illinois.
The contractor will need to provide all necessary facilities, plants, labor, transportation, materials, and equipment to perform mechanical dredging of approximately 75,000 cubic yards of material from the mentioned area.
The contractor will also be responsible for performing mechanical dredging of approximately 80,000 cubic yards of material from the Waukegan Harbor approach channel.
