DOF Subsea, a subsidiary of DOF ASA, has been awarded a contract for mooring installation in the Asia Pacific region.
The contract award will secure utilization of the vessel Skandi Hercules for approx. 2 months.
Skandi Hercules is a multi-purpose vessel with both construction support vessel features based on a modern anchor handling vessel design. The vessel is best suited for field installation operations across a wide range of water depths and environmental conditions.
The Company also announced that AKOFS 2 AS has exercised the purchase option for the vessel Skandi Aker.
The vessel is owned by DOF Subsea Rederi AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of DOF Subsea AS, and the transaction will take place February 2015.
Skandi Aker is a class leading ROV construction support vessel ideally suited to perform deep water riser intervention, shallow water riserless intervention, subsea construction, installation and maintenance operations worldwide.
