The Dredging Corporation of India Ltd, Visakhapatnam, will celebrate the 43rd National Safety Week from today until 11 March, 2014.
The celebrations were inaugurated today with safety flag hoisting and safety pledge administering to the employees by the Chairman and Managing Director, Capt.D. K. Mohanty.
In his inaugural address, he stressed on significance of safety on board dredgers. He conveyed that the preventive measures are to be taken to ensure compliance of safety aspects on the dredging vessels.
