Uni-Asia Holdings’ subsidiary Regina Bulkship S.A. (Regina Bulkship) has entered into an agreement with Imabari Shipbuilding Co., Ltd to acquire a 37,000 dwt newbuilding handy bulk carrier worth US$25 million.
The vessel is scheduled for the delivery around first quarter of 2015.
Subsequently, Regina Bulkship has agreed with Pacific Basin on the major terms of a time charter agreement for the same vessel. The vessel will be on charter for a period of five years, with an option for extension.
