On February 21, CCCC Vice President Sun Ziyu attended the signing ceremony of the EPC contract for Zanzibar New Port project.
With a contract amount of over USD 200 million and a construction period of 36 months, the project involves construction of a multi-purpose terminal berth and related auxiliary facilities.
The project will boost the capacity of Zanzibar Island for cargo import and export, create more jobs for locals and play an important role in promoting Tanzania’s economic development.
